IMG_9126We want our spaces to be a projection of our self, to have the right energy, reflect our uniqueness and look beautiful. Finding the inspiring, and stunning pieces of home decors and furnishing has become a cake walk with the newly opened CHATTELS & MORE and KARE stores.

Easa Saleh Al Group LLC (ESAG), a multidivisional conglomerate comprising 26 companies across the retail, building and construction and industrial sectors, has expanded its comprehensive retail home furnishings portfolio with the launch of its own concept; Chattels & More and the opening of KARE’s first standalone retail space in the UAE.

The Dubai based brand joins IDdesign in the home furnishings line-up from the Group, and is located in Umm Hurair district, near Al Maktoum Bridge, which is often referred to as Dubai’s furniture quarter.

The word Chattles refers to movable articles of personal property like furniture and accessories. Founded in 2016, Chattels & More is a homegrown home furnishings and interior design concept offering modern and contemporary furniture, without an exorbitant price tag.  Brought to market from an experienced team, Chattels & More offers well-designed, timeless and aesthetically pleasing home furnishings and accessories sourced from skillful artisans and unique vendors throughout Europe. In addition to home furnishings, Chattels & More offers comprehensive customized interior home design solutions.

Chattles & More offers a range of mid to high-end home furnishings products sourced from unique vendors across Europe complemented by in-house interior design services. Chattles designs deliver uniqueness and style to every home it touches. The often transient nature of living in Dubai can make it tricky for residents to transform their accommodation from a functional living space into an inviting home. However help is at hand with Chattels & More, an innovative and homegrown furniture concept, which opened earlier this month.  The concept offers modern and contemporary furniture that not only makes a statement but appeals to a variety of tastes, without an exorbitant price tag.

Targeting the city’s mid-to high-range home interiors market, the brand features quality, modernistic items and accessories for the home, all of which have been sourced from unique artisans and vendors across Europe.

“As the emirate of Dubai continues to welcome residents from across the globe with varied cultural influences and choices, there is always a niche for home furniture and accessories that make a statement in terms of both design and concept as well as appeal to a wider market,” says Abdulla Al Gurg, Group General Manager at Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC, the Dubai-based business group behind Chattels & More.

From single chairs, coffee tables and lamps to sofa suites, dining sets and bedroom furniture, customers can select from a wide array of pieces in Chattels & More’s spacious -18000 sq ft showroom located in Dubai’s Umm Hurair district, close to Al Maktoum Bridge. Prices range from AED100 for accessories up to AED50,000 for complete furniture sets.

The collection showcases a luxe feel, without being fussy. Colours are muted and designed to be dressed up with colourful accessories that align with individual client’s vision for their living

spaces. Each piece in the collection is chosen with purpose, to meet the demands of the modern home; the emphasis is on long-lasting, quality home furnishing with timeless style.

The knowledgeable in-house design team can advise on all aspects of interior design for the home. From recommending the best way to arrange furniture in a particular room through to carrying out a free, comprehensive site visit to suggest customised flooring options, carpets, curtains, coordinating accessories and more, the team at Chattels & More is all set to work with clients to make their living space an extension of their personality.

German brand, KARE’s first standalone retail space is also located in the same area. Situated next to Chattels & More showroom; KARE, which offers innovative, iconic and eclectic home furnishings, is an ideal brand to fulfill the region’s desire for one-of-a-kind statement pieces. The two furniture brands occupy individual spaces within a shared 18000 sq ft showroom, to showcase their product range. With its own stores in Germany and Austria, 200 brand partners worldwide and 2000 trade customers, KARE inspires cosmopolitan spirits and young people of all ages in over 40 countries with an enthusiasm for individual furnishing. Founded by Jürgen Reiter and Peter Schönhofen when they were students, the heads of the company are still at the helm today, bringing their passion, innovativeness and personal commitment to a company that sees itself as a generator of change.

Commenting on the launch of Chattels & More and the opening of KARE’s new showroom space, Abdulla Al Gurg, Group General Manager of Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC, said:

“The home furnishings market in the region is expanding at an exponential rate. Past data reveals the MENA interior design industry was valued at $7.1 billion at the end of 2014, with the UAE and Saudi Arabia dominating the landscape. What’s more, the design business in the UAE is forecasted to be worth nearly US$36 billion within the next four years. Architecture and interior design is a large component of that figure behind fashion, which plays an influential role in setting home décor trends.” *

“As a number of consumers coming to the UAE from across the region make furniture purchases, which is then shipped to their home country, the projected growth rate for the interior design sector is a natural progression. This represents a significant opportunity for the Group. It has driven us to add a dynamic furniture and design experience such as KARE to our portfolio, as well as establish our own brand, Chattels & More to complement our current offerings,” continued Al Gurg.

“In Dubai alone, developers are forecasted to deliver more than 25,000 new units in 2016, so the potential for growth in the sector is positive.**  From our experience, we have found that consumers want original design concepts to create an individual look, but without the hefty price tag. Therefore, brands like KARE, a revolutionary design
