Modhesh World, Dubai, in a new avatar

Buzzingtales and its squad of little Buzztales recently visited Modhesh World. If you are a parent you are not the only parent scouting for fun and learning worthy active activities that your kids can engage in. I for sure do not want them to waste away their free time lazing around in front of gadgets. So I took my kids and their friends for a trip to Modhesh World, one of the region’s largest indoor entertainment and amusement parks!  The kids could enjoy a lineup of family fun events, featuring world-class entertainment activities and immersive experiences whilst staying active and escaping the summer heat. If you think Modhesh World is for only little kids you certainly need to check out the Virtual Reality Games as well as other activates that have come up this year. My kids and their friends certainly got their misconceptions cleared and I am glad they could enjoy it before Modhesh World got over on 25 August 2018.

We had a gala of a time and the 4 hours we spend here seemed too less. The activities took place over eight distinctive halls at the Dubai World Trade Centre and offer an array of engaging games, rides, stage shows and acts by roaming artistes – here are some of our favourite things at Modhesh World :

  1. A  VR Tournament, ACCROBRANCHE climbing and thrilling rides at Modhesh World

All the Young Adults would certainly Interested in participating and representing MEA in a first of its kind VR gaming tournament. In fact, one could win a trip to Hong Kong to compete in the finals!

In collaboration with HTC, the official Virtual Reality gaming partner for Modhesh World 2018, avid gamers and VR fans can take part in the Asia Championships of the spectacular Vive VR game, Front Defense, a highly polished, arcade-style VR shooter experience and the first-of-its-kind VR system by HTC. Gaming enthusiasts can enter in teams of up to 4 people, where they will battle it out at the qualifying tournament at Modhesh World from July 26-28 where they will be in with a chance of making it to the E-Sports & Music Festival Hong Kong (EMFHK) finals from August 24-26. Applicants must be aged 18 years or over and the winning team will get a free 3-night travel package to Hong Kong courtesy of HTC Vive.

  1. Enjoy a range of exciting games and sports!

My kids battled it out in a 200sqm maze, climbed a fun obstacle rope course by Accrobranche Junior, and stayed cool by skating on the Modhesh Ice Rink. All this is in an indoor park where kids can stay active and have fun.

  1. Win big at ModheshWorld this year!

I was so stoked to find that there is a good chance to win big. With every AED 300 one spends at Modhesh World they receive a raffle coupon to play “Spin the Wheel” every Sunday for a chance to win vouchers worth AED 5,000 of Jumbo Electronics.

Apart from this one can also participate to be in the running to win a GS8 car, sponsored by Gargash Motors. All visitors will be given a ‘Visit and Win’ raffle coupon with every entry ticket, giving them an opportunity to enter the raffle. Winners will be announced on 25 August 2018!

  1. Pampering for Mum at VLCC’s Wellness Lounge

This really was one big attraction for me. While kids enjoy all the fun that Modhesh World had to offer, mums can enjoy a chance to pamper themselves at the Modhesh Wellness Lounge by VLCC.  Located in Hall 1, mums can indulge in much-deserved pampering while their little ones engage in active play nearby with a shoulder massage or quick polish change and much more!

5. Continue to meet favourite characters, Hello    Kitty    and of course, Dubai’s mascot, Modhesh!

The little ones always have this attraction to forward to, but they are a feast for the eyes in any case.

With daily parade shows along with a meet and greet opportunities, kids can interact and get their photos taken with all their favourite characters: the lovable Hello Kitty who has her own dress up shop and of course, Modhesh!
