Seville’s the delightful Spanish Resturant & Bar in Wafi, Dubai transports it’s visitors right to the heart and soul of Spain. Named after the vibrant capital city of Andalusia, Seville’s charms guests effortlessly with its authentic gastronomic relishes, proficient & warm staff as well as lively world-class ambiance.
Buzzingtales received a blast of irresistible Spanish hospitality as soon as it arrived. We were dazzled by Seville’s beautiful outdoor space of wooden seaters, trees decked in twinkling lights and the quaint ambient fresco bar/restaurant, embraced by green creepers. The indoor space was alluring but with the romantic weather outside, we just couldn’t help sitting under the stars. The soft Spanish music in the background instantly uplifted our spirits.
Our server for the evening, Hannah, greeted us with an infectious smile and we happily entrusted her to choose our mocktails. Buzzingtales verdict from the word “GO” is that Seville’s serves the most gorgeous mock-tails. Each sip from my glass (Virgin Pina Kiss or something) was divine.
Then came a blast of full-on Spanish appetizers. From the size of the appetizer’s served Buzzingtales could tell that Seville’s believes in doing everything the big way. We loved the presentation and taste of the Tapas & Tostas. The Escalivada -made with toasted ciabatta bread topped with red bell pepper, onions & eggplant and the Papas Con Mojos, ie baby potatoes with classic canary island dips were a vegetarian’s haven. From the exhaustive non-veg option of appetizers, we were served the delectable Canelon, Polo Al Azilo, and Langostinos. The care taken in preparation and presentation was clearly visible.
Then came the Paellas, the traditional Spanish main dish. The preparation for this elaborate traditional dish is very time-consuming. However, every bite of the Paellas absolutely justified the time and effort put. I devoured my vegetarian Paella De Verduras while the non-vegetarians had a ball with Paella Valenciana. With a sinful sweet tooth, I always look forward to the dessert bit. Hannah again took and delivered 100% with her choice of dessert for us. It was a big piece of heaven, that was made bread soaked in milk (plus some secret ingredients I suspect J) and crafted dexterously with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice-cream on the side. Our dinner at Seville’s turned out to be one of the most memorable and beautiful evenings. I can’t help but mention the care with which the staff treated us. Buzzingtales really fell in love with Seville’s big-hearted warm Spanish hospitality.
